Book Review: Gone Tomorrow by Lee Child
Rating:
I wanted a lighter read after my last read, and I know this book was the basis for the next Reacher TV series, so thought it would be a good one to pick up.
As with all Reacher books, the writing is easy and requires very little in the way of mental effort, which is exactly what I wanted. I wasn’t overly keen on the plot, and I’m left wondering how this will be adapted for TV as there’s very little in the way of action, most of the book is Reacher just wandering around New York, with only one or two fight scenes to punctuate the story.
The book was fine on the whole, and did it’s job as a light alternative to my previous read. My next book is the last Thursday Murder Club which has sat in my pile for ages. Review shortly!
